MAKABAYAN's "Atras Con-Ass" Motorcade in Davao City

Partylist representatives Satur Ocampo, Liza Maza and Teddy Casiño wave to Davao City residents during today's "Atras Con-Ass" motorcade around the city. The three partylist representatives earlier launched a petition signing campaign right in the district of House Speaker Prospero Nograles calling on him and other congressmen to abandon all attempts to convene Congress into a constituent assembly when the Lower House resumes sessions later this month.  Click the images below for bigger versions:

Next year, Casiño said the Makabayang Koalisyon ng Mamamayan (Makabayan) would be ready to join the Senate race again.He said it would most likely field Bayan Muna Rep. Satur Ocampo, Gabriela Women’s Party Rep. Liza Maza and himself as their senatorial candidates. Makabayan also includes the labor party-list group Anakpawis and the youth group Kabataan.  read more »
