Activist lawmakers file resolution vs. hero’s burial for Marcos

Activist Members of Congress on Monday filed House Resolution 1297 opposing the proposed hero’s burial for the dictator Ferdinand Marcos, calling it “a grave travesty of justice” and a “monumental historical distortion”.

Leading the anti-Marcos charge are Bayan Muna Reps. Teddy Casino and Neri Javier Colmenares, Gabriela Reps. Luzviminda Ilagan and Emmi de Jesus, Anakpawis Rep. Rafael Mariano, ACT Teachers Rep. Antonio Tinio and Kabataan Rep. Raymond Palatino.  read more »
