Various women's groups celebrated Mother's Day

MANILA, Philippines – A party list representative said that participating in the coming 2010 elections is another way of celebrating Mother’s Day, a radio report said.

Rep. Liza Largoza-Masa of Gabriela along with other women’s groups gathered today at Quezon City Circle to pre-celebrate Mother’s Day and push for women’s rights and reforms in society.

According to Maza, active participation in the coming elections is one way of espousing change.

Personalities like Bibeth Orteza and Pinky Amador also graced the said event.
