Maza, Ocampo announce senatorial bids (4:22 p.m.)

MANILA -- Party-list Representatives Liza Maza (Gabriela) and Satur Ocampo (Bayan Muna) are eyeing seats in the Senate for the coming 2010 elections.

Ocampo said that, as of now, they will run independently but are still open to talks with other opposition parties.

For her part, Maza said in case they join a party, platforms will be the basis of their choice.
