HR 1060- Investigation on the death of one-year-old Rafaela Polvorido and injury of four other children

A resolution directing the House Committee on Human Rights and the Committee on the Welfare of Children to conduct an investigation, in aid of legislation. on the death one-year-old Rafaela Polvorido, and the injury of four other children and two women in Ligao, Albay, allegedly as a result of clearing operations conducted by the 901st Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army in preparation for  the 2009 US-RP Balikatan Exercises to be held in the Bicol Region in April, and recommend measures towards the immediate prosecution of the military officials and soldiers involved and the cancellation  of the joint military training exercises for the danger it poses on the lives of the people especially women and children.
